Amish Chadha’s personal stamp: a great wave beneath Mount Fuji, with the initials AC
Builder, designer, adventurer, problem solver, mentor

Leading the design and creation of intelligent products that move industries forward.

I care about the quiet work of making things that hold: a bridge, a recipe, a tool in a tired hand. I am building toward a world remade from the atom up, where what we make gives back more than it takes.

About

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by. Pull up a chair; here is the short version of a long and happily unplanned story.

I trained in systems engineering and political economy, walked away from a doctorate halfway through to go and build things, and have spent my career since where big decisions turn into steel and concrete: across five continents, in boardrooms and on job sites, from hydro dams and high-voltage lines to ports, mines, refineries and transit. Each one taught me that the asset is never the whole story; what it unlocks downstream is. Some of that work happened in Iraq and Afghanistan while the ground was still settling, alongside defence communities, and places like that teach you quickly that a working substation is a hospital that stays lit, a school that opens on time, a family that decides to stay.

On the capital side, I have advised sovereign funds and investors on where the next generation of energy, industry and infrastructure should be built, and learned that the spreadsheet is the easy part. The real deal gets done across languages, faiths and family histories, usually in the pause before someone says yes. What I am proudest of is what keeps running after I leave: digital product businesses grown inside engineering firms, AI platforms in daily use, and leaders I mentored who now run portfolios of their own. Today I shape manufacturing and technology strategy for a household-name consumer goods company, build open hardware at Design Molecule and health technology at OpenRatio, and am betting on atoms over algorithms. If there is one thread through all of it, it is that I do my best work where engineering, capital and people meet, and where getting it right matters to the people who will live with the result.
